Fantasy Football Draft
6:00pm to 8:30pm, 14 and up, Meeting Room A
Join our Fantasy Football league and manage a team of your favorite players for bragging rights and monthly and season-ending prizes. Get your team before draft day by signing up at the Reference desk or by emailing Andy, andy.schuck@westlandlibrary.org for a league invite. Draft starts promptly at 6:30, so get here early to discuss draft plans and talk with other league managers. Snacks, refreshments provided.

Westland Writers Workshop

Do you have a piece of writing that you need help with? WWW critiques individual's writing in a workshop setting. All genres accepted (fiction, poetry, memoir, etc.). We will tell you what is what is working with your piece, as well as what needs improvement. You must attend one session before your writing will be reviewed. Stay in the library overnight! Play games, eat food, and have tremendous amounts of fun. Only a limited number of spots are available. Pick up a green registration sheet in the YA area. Registration forms are due on Friday, Semptember 3rd, by 5 PM.

This program is presented by Oakwood Healthcare System Clinical Ethics Center and features Edie English, RN, BSN - Clinical Manager. Learn how to prepare your own advance care plan.
