Stop by or call the Westland Library and ask for Liz

Do you know an adult who needs help reading? They are not alone. There are 30 million adults in the U.S. who can’t read well enough to understand a newspaper article or fill out a job application.

The Westland Public Library is offering FREE 1-on-1 tutoring with trained literacy volunteers. Learners must commit to meeting with their tutor once a week for two hours in one of the library's meeting rooms at a time that is convenient for them. This service is completely confidential.
