Meeting Rooms Policy

The Westland Public Library has meeting room space available for the public. Please check for availability at the Circulation Desk. You will need to provide a valid permanent Westland Public Library card and proof of Westland residency in order to reserve a room. “For profit” entities are not allowed to use meeting room space. No walk-ins allowed. Rooms must be reserved twenty-four hours in advance for no more than two days in a row.

Meeting Room C can be reserved for up to 3 hours per day. The meeting room can hold up to 10 people.

Meeting Room C may only be reserved up to 2 times within 7 days by the same person or group. The room cannot be reserved for more than 2 days in a row during connected weeks (for example, a patron cannot reserve the room on Friday and Saturday during one week and then also reserve it for Sunday of the following week).

Tutor Rooms 1 and 2 can be reserved for up to 2 hours per day. Each room can hold no more than 2 people at a time. Adult Literacy Tutors must schedule the rooms in advance.

The tutoring rooms may only be reserved up to 2 times within 7 days by the same person. The rooms cannot be reserved for more than 2 days in a row during connected weeks (for example, a patron cannot reserve the room on Friday and Saturday during one week and then also reserve it for Sunday of the following week).
