Equifax Data Breach

You may have heard of the recent hacking and data breach of Equifax, one of the United States' three primary consumer credit reporting agencies. Because of this data breach, approximately 143 million people (over half of the adult population of the U.S.) have had their private information stolen, possibly including names, Social Security numbers, birthdates, and addresses. Your personal information may have been compromised in this hack, which could lead to identity theft or other malicious actions using your data. Coyote Cutouts

We have posted photorealistic coyote cutouts outside the library building to deter the geese that have often been a nuisance in our parking lot during this time of year. The cutouts may also deter the rafter of turkeys we have recently seen around the library.

Meet Libby. Brought to you by OverDrive.

Libby is a new app for downloading ebooks and audiobooks. It takes just a few taps to find and borrow a book. Libby has a ground-breaking built-in ebook reader, and a beautiful audiobook player. If you love it, you can use it instead of the OverDrive app. If you don't love it yet, feel free to keep using the OverDrive app, but check in on Libby from time to time — they are adding features and squashing bugs every day.

For more information, please visit OverDrive: https://meet.libbyapp.com/
