Teen Groups

There are a number of groups and clubs at the library that exist just for teens. To find specific meeting dates check out the teen events calendar.

Teen Book Discussion

A book club for teens ages 14 and up. If you're a teen and you like to discuss what you've read with others, then you'll like Teen Book Club. Come discuss the most recent noteworthy teen books. This group meets one Thursday a month.

Anime/Manga Discussion Group

Come discuss your favorite manga books and anime shows. The Anime/Manga Group is a place for teens to meet, watch and discuss all things anime and manga related, from the classics to what’s new. This group meets one Wednesday a month.

Chess Club

Like to play chess? Want to get better? Come to the Westland Chess Group and hang out and play a couple of games. Bring your own board or use one of ours. Novices to Chess masters are all welcome. This group is open to adults and teens and meets every Thursday evening at 6:00 pm and Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
