Tabletop Gaming Club

Did you know the library has tabletop gaming every other Tuesday? Join Eric in the Faust Area for a game of Settlers of Catan, Munchkin, Clue, Risk, or many other board games. His selection of games is practically endless, so chances are you'll end up learning a new game as well! The club meets every other Tuesday at 6 pm.

Check our Adult Events page to see the next meeting date.

Shop for a Cause

Save yourself some money and help the library raise funds for books and other resources. The Westland Macy's and the Public Library of Westland are teaming up for Shop for a Cause this year. Buy a $5 coupon at the library from now until August 23rd and use that coupon to get 25% off most items at Macy's exclusive Shop for a Cause sale on August 23rd (cannot use coupon on any other day but you can use it at other Macy's). Everyone who uses their coupon at Macy's is entered into a $500 gift card drawing, too. Stop by the Circulation Desk to buy your coupon. Thank you for your support!

MI Big Green Gym

The Michigan Recreation and Park Association, Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan have teamed up to promote overall well-being and a healthy lifestyle through use of parks. One of the great things about this program is the availability of FREE one-day passes to Michigan state parks and recreation areas that you can "check out" at the Circulation Desk. Find out more about the MI Big Green Gym, peruse a list of state parks and recreation areas, and enjoy summer in Michigan!
